With a pool of more than 500 caregivers throughout our service area, we can work to match your needs, lifestyle and preferences with the talent and skills of your caregiver to the best of our ability.

As a complementary service, a nurse will first meet with you at your home to develop a care plan tailored your unique needs. Your home care plan is then followed by assigned caregivers on your team.

We work to recruit the most qualified and compassionate health care professionals. Your Private Care team is screened, insured and credentialed, and team members are routinely supervised by your nurse case manager during home care visits.

Through ongoing learning experiences and in-service training, our staff is equipped with the knowledge that leads to the highest level of personal home care possible. We offer our staff certification in areas such as Alzheimer’s and end-of-life care.

All Our Home Health Care Staff Go Through a Vigorous Screening Process

• Employment history verification and minimum of two reference checks
• Verification of active license and certification
• Written competency testing
• Criminal background checks through Massachusetts General Hospital security
• Adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
• Screened through Office of Inspector General (OIG) sanction registry
• Screened through state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) registry
• Certification of Social Security numbers
